Now it has been decided by the government to close the BEd course and replace it with a new course.

Candidates with B.Ed degree will not be able to take the exam for teacher recruitment in the country after 6 years i.e. from 2030.

A new course for them is being started by the government from 2025.

Now from next year, candidates will not be able to take the 2-year B.Ed. course.

The government is making changes in the education policy to enhance the quality of higher education.

Keeping in mind the new education policy, the National Council for Teacher Education is making changes in the B.Ed course.

The degree recognition of B.Ed. course will continue for 2 years of special subject after graduation.

After the closure of the 2-year special BEd course by NCERT, it has also been decided to close the 4-year BEd course.

Now in its place, a new 4-year BEd ITP course will have to be done.

This new 4-year course has been started by the government.

The admission for which is also starting at present.

Next year it will be implemented simultaneously in the country. .
